A We want to fund and partner with Christians who are passionate about improving the lives of people in some of the world’s poorest countries. In the Christian tradition, “passion” means more than just an intense feeling; it describes Jesus’s unwavering commitment to love and serve the world, despite the costs to Himself.
“Venture” means “a risky or daring journey or undertaking.” Since PV fellows will be in the early stages of starting their organizations, they will be bravely venturing out (and literally moving) to serve their intended communities.
A PV does not fund projects that are in the idea or pre-pilot phase. We also do not fund new projects that are part of an established organization.
A Fellows receive $30,000 to $100,000 of flexible funding for one year. Amounts depend on the organization’s operating costs and the Fellow’s cost of living locally. Each applicant will request a specific amount on the application, and if selected, we will set the final figure in consultation with each recipient. Funding is paid in three installments.
A PV Fellowships come with a great degree of flexibility so that Fellows can focus on their work. Funds cover both program and general operating costs, as well as living expenses.
A The duration of a PV Fellowship is one year. However, successful Fellows are welcome to re-apply for additional funding at the end of the year. We’d love to build a longer term partnership with outstanding Fellows!
A To be considered, at least 25% of your funding must come from PV. Additionally, you must disclose all outside funding in your application.
Passion Ventures is funded by the Kevin & Deborah Bartz Foundation (KDBF). KDBF is dedicated to empowering Christians to serve the poor as an expression of their faith.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
