Work Experience

  • 2017/10 - 2018/09

    QBSW, a.s.

    Software Developer

Ferratum ODS – Operational data storage
    08/2018 - 09/2018

The goal of the project is to synchronize data into one repository from others still functional legacy systems. This repository will be the only data storage in the future.

    Activities & Responsibilities:
I developed two spring boot applications. First one was for receiving data from one Apache kafka topic and spreading to multiple topics according to input data. The second one was for receiving data from multiple topics, merging together and saving to another system via rest calls. Business flow is quiet simple, but challenging part was to implement it with new technology like KStreams etc.

    Technologies:
Java EE, Spring boot, Spring cloud config, Spring cloud stream, Spring cloud openfeign, Apache kafka, Maven

    WMS – Workflow management system
    12/2017 - 08/2018

The goal of the project was to create complex information system for handling smart meters for electricity providers in Scandinavia. System allows to create a configure lot of different business processes, plan tasks, automatic metering, integration with legacy systems etc.

    Activities & Responsibilities:
I joined international team of developers. My task was to implement new modules according to specification, fix bugs reported by customer (later also in production environment) and basically did any programmer work. Because this was a long time project and it was really huge (approximately 2 million lines of code), understanding application flow was very challenging task.

    Technologies:
Java EE, EJB, Spring, JSF, HTML, Oracle DB, DB2, PL/SQL, SOAP web services, Maven

  • 2014/11 - 2017/09

    ANEXT, a.s.

    Software Developer

    DCOM
    06/2017 - 09/2017

The goal of the national project is to create the Municipality Data Centre (MDC, Slovak version DCOM) to make the E-services available for towns and villages so they will be able to deliver them to citizens and businessmen.

    Activities & Responsibilities:
The task was to modify and partly implement MDFX - application module designed for processing and storing forms. MDFX was already in production environment, but there was need to create/update flow for another form type. I was working on it independently with just a little knowledge how it should work, so it very was challenging task.

    Technologies:
Spring, Hibernate, SOAP web services, Maven, MS SQL database
